Artist Bio
I have always had an appreciation and love for art. I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil, but didn't develop an interest in painting until I was in my thirties. As a self-taught artist using acrylics as my medium, I have painted a wide variety of subjects; however, I prefer to paint portraits. I draw much of my inspiration from God, my family, friends and living in the country. I was born in Trenton, New Jersey, but I have lived in West Virginia since the age of five. I currently live in Given, which is a rural area in Jackson County. I live there with my husband Joe and our two children, Jennifer and Jacob.
I have been a member of Allied Artists of West Virginia since 2009. My art was published in the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources Wildlife Calendar in 2011 and one of my paintings was accepted into the West Virginia Wildlife 2011 Juried Exhibit at the Culture Center in Charleston, West Virginia. I have been commissioned to paint numerous paintings and murals over the years.
I am currently hosting painting parties, teaching art and having the time of my life!
